I did also notice that for some reason, the "<" was missing from the start of my config file. Dunno what happened to that. Maybe thats got something to do with it? arg.

Weird!~ there is nothing weird about it, you are sending output before you start a session so in the top of that index.php file you either have characters outside of php tags or are deliberately echoing out characters. dropmachine.com Posted December 6, 2006 Author Posted December 6, 2006 So, I have installed the newest version on two different servers (same company) and get the error everytime I make a chance to the layout. I also tried installing an earlier version, and as soon as I changed it I got the error there too. Maybe its something to do with PHP5?

dropmachine.com Posted December 6, 2006 Author Posted December 6, 2006 So, i figured it out. Its something to do with dreamweaver. The minute I made a single change, I got that error. I checked, and yes it does leave a space at the bottom of the code, so I got rid of that. However, the error is still there. Now, the ONLY change I have made is to select the main table in Dreamweaver, and change it from 100% to 730px. THATS IT. Its Dreamweaver 8, if that helps. I have no idea why its doing this, its never happened before. I am going to reinstall DW and see if thats it, maybe its scrambling the code somewhere. Here is the index code, if it helps. jdvb Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 if it is the editor try editing your index.php file with wordpad / notepad then and do the same alteration. I do not see why that would be incorrect (only one occurence of 730 in the posted text, and that one seems to be ok). how do you upload your files? Something could also be going wrong there. Try opening the file in an online editor and saving it (i.e. the filemanager of your hosting account, I know I have one included in direct admin).

I do not understand why, but when i initially transferred them and ran the install, it was fine. It was only after I transferred files afterwards that it went to hell. I have no idea why, just did. God I hate the internet sometimes.
