Zones Problems

Hi guys,

 

I seem to be having a problem with the zones. I followed the advice of someone here showing how to add more zones, basically changing the zones.php file and adding a number that's different than one to show more zones, but I can't see them in the admin to define them.

 

Can anyone give me a hand trying to fix this? I really need to have more than one zone available in the admin.

I'm not sure if you're having the same problem that I did, but have a look at the solutions given to "Zones driving me nuts" asked by HelleM on 29 Nov and "Cannot add Countries to Tax Zone" asked by me, Possum Blossom, on 3 Dec. They might help.

Hi there

 

In case you didn't get the solution elsewhere, after you have changed the number of zones in zones.php in modules/shipping, you then need to go into Admin. Here, you need to go into Modules, then Shipping and then select the Zone rates line. Next, click on Remove. Finally, on the Zone rates line still, click on Install.

 

Basically, you need to reinstall the Shipping Zones Module in order to see the changes you have made to the number of zones.
