email not working properly

I can't get the email in OsCommerce working properly.

 

I know my host is on BSD, so I selected the sendmail option.

 

the email comes from "OsCommerce <root@localhost>"

 

I've also tried using smtp. But still the email never gets sent. OsCommerce says it does, but I never get it in the email box I sent it to.

 

any ideas?
