Payment for Registration

Hi. I am new to OSCommerce and have what I hope is a simple question. Is it possible to set up a site the requires the payment of a membership fee by credit card in order to complete the registration process?

 

I have a client who wants to be able to have a listing of available services by area for contractor's to use but he wants it to be limited to those who pay a membership fee to access the information.
