I tried searching, but didn't find any real information about "This is how you start using the SSL server with your shopping cart" type information. I want the SSL to kick in when they click the checkout button. Thank You

It would need to be installed on the server and then your configure files would need to be changed to use it. Once that is done, the code will handle the rest and your site will be protected.
