lugoismad Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 What do I have to purchase from authorize.net to make it work with the authorize.net module in OsCommerce?
Jack_mcs Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 You have to signup with an authorize.net reseller. Be careful since there are many of them and some charge a $300 signup free while others are free. There are also other fees that may vary from one to the next. But once the account is setup and approved, you will have login information. Just enter that into your module settings and it should work. Unless your authorize.net reseller requires you to have CVV enabled. In that case, you will have to install an update to the stock authorize.net module. After speaking with my client, we decided the best option here is to just use the free credit card module, and use the split email address thingy, where it emails you the middle digits and doesn't store them on server. They already have an existing brick and mortar merchant account, so having another through authorize.net seems dumb. They will purchase SSL, and it should be all happy and secure without using a clearing house. Thank You
