Stock Levels

How can I make the product details view, display 'Out of Stock' without having to add it to my cart, and finding out when going to pay.

Check in your admin. Under configuration then stock.

 

 

Set check stock level to true.

 

Set allow checkout to false.

 

That should do it.

Thats how I have t set, but yet they can still purchase out of stock items
