Need to add a better product entry system HELP!

Is ther anyway to have a different product entry syustemm so that all of the information regarding attributes, categoies etc are all in one area . This would allow for us to enter all on one page. i seemed to have seen this on the os commerce guide on this site.

Not sure what you looking for or what you want.

 

There are contributions out that can handle attributes a bit different than the original admin, have a look by searching for "attributes" in the contrib.

 

Once you have setup all that there is to setup in a vanilla admin, than you only have to go to one place to enter all the products.

You have to select your category and enter the product there. Also there you can add the name, stocknumber, price, description, weight, etc.

 

If you need more than look into the contribution section.

 

But you also can download the latest osc, install it and test it, learning by doing.

 

Other place would be the Knowledge Base of OSC or the documentation section

I understand, BUT, when you look at the user guide under http://www.oscommerce.info/kb/osCommerce/A...ool/Catalog/147

 

You will notice that the product entry area in admin has this great tabbed system. Is this in the NEW VERSION or a contribution?
