Installation of a test system on a Xampp maschine

Hi,

your installation routine is a bit strange.

I have to use a special path where your system ha sto be installed because to understand what and how the files are installes. I don't want to install at the root directory.

 

Is there a suitable list of files where I have to change the paths, otherwise your installation failed any time. Why did you not use a field to define the root path for the installation to run the installation easily.

Sometimes it's magic. I scratched the complete installation, including the database. Afterwards I installed everything again and in the first step I got the same error messages as the first time. Then mostly by accident I just hit the return just having the incomplete path without /install.php and I don't know why but it starts to install the system.

Not magic - the path is /install or /install/index.php and not /install.php
