Default tax class on product entry

Hi ppl

 

Using 2.2 MS2 (051113), for product entry, I can't quite see where to set the default tax class.

 

I only have two classes, taxable and --none-- and it shows --none-- and requires me to choose taxable. All my products are taxable. How do I set it to have taxable 'selected'?

 

I've had a mooch around both versions of catagories.php which is what, I think, drives it and I can see the section but it calls tep_db something or other (from memory) and I don't know enough about that part.

 

I thought it might be tax_priority in the table, which was set to 1. I set it to 0 and I set it to 999 and neither made a difference. There seems to be no entry for --none--.

 

I set a 'zero rated' class with priority 0, and it still defaults to --none--.

 

Any clues?
