payment method is not showing on orders

Hi,

 

The payment method is not showing on my order or invoice. Therefore I am unable to retrieve the CC #'s. When I do test orders the payment method shows at the bottom of the payment confirmation page but is not populating anywhere else. It is just not the CC payment module, its all of them.

 

Please help.

I think the problem you're having has to do with Payment Zones. The Payment Method works for you, because you are in the correct payment zone. Anyone who creates an account outside of the zone won't see it.

 

Goto Administration / Modules / Payment - then click on the Credit Card module. Do you have a Payment Zone specified? If so, set that to "none".

 

This should probably do it.

 

BTW - the shipping modules has a similar zone thing as well, you may want to set the shipping zones to none.

Hi,

 

Thats not it. My zones are set to none. I need to be able to get cc #'s on admin>orders. I have tried uninstalling the payment modules and reloading them. BTW, this was working just fine as of 11-29 cuz I received an order and it displayed cc# and payment method just fine.

So the credit card module comes up during check out, but it's not passing the information to the Admin / Orders screen?

 

The invoice is not meant to have the credit card number display.

I'm having a similar problem, in admin/order status the payment method is blank if the customer chooses anything except Paypal IPN.
