Believeinfairies Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 Hello - I have seen a lot of posts regarding Paypal and using the special contribution for IPN, but I was planning to use 'Paypal Standard' so I can avoid holding cardholder information on an unsecured site. Does the standard Paypal module (which I have activated with the Admin tool) support this? I realise how much Paypal Pro has been covered - but this is Paypal Standard also this is a UK based site as well (seems to be some difference in offerings between Paypal US and Paypal UK) (BTW - I got osCommerce installed and configured within a day on a virtual hosted Linux server, despite all my previous experience being with Windoze and ASP no Php - excellent documentation and superb product!)
Believeinfairies Posted December 4, 2006 Author Posted December 4, 2006 Ok so call me Mr Numpty Noonah - I take it IPN is what I need to do this, I seem to have a confusion in what this should be called plus a case of RTFM on my part. If some kind person could either call me a muppet or point in the right direction I shall go away hanging my head in shame.
