Hi,

First post and all that, but been using osCommerce for about a year now so i just about know whats going on!

Just doing a site for a client, it requires a custom shipping module. Basic outline of the situation as follows:

- UK based client sells 2 types of product, standard and fragile.

- Sales to UK and ROI only.

- Standard products should be shipped using carrier based on weight/size - No problems there

- If a fragile product is ordered then all products in the order will be delivered using in house transport at a cost.

- This cost will be based upon weight/size and delivery location - delivery location should be requested each time a fragile product is added (the buyer may intend to add a new delivery address at checkout - dont want them getting that far before checking)

- If delivery location is too far then will not deliver. (based on postcodes)

- If delivery location is too far BUT is for above £xxx worth of goods then will consider delivery and should prompt the buyer to enter details to get an immediate call back to discuss delivery.

- If all fragile goods are removed from the basket (manually or automatically because won't deliver) then delviery should revert to standard carrier.

Does that make any sense to anyone??!!

So the questions are as follows:

1. Is there a suitable contribution already? (i have searched for ages but cant find anything)

2. Is there a contribution that can be modified?

3. Do you want to do the work for me? - i really havent got time!! I will pay accordingly, would very much prefer a UK based, competant person.

If you're interested email me asap at [email protected]

Cheers

Tom
