Hi there

I have been checking around the forums to see if there is an answers to this but have not come up with anything.

I installed 9,500 products to my store. Everthing seems ok until I go into the admin then to catalog. Anywhere else is fine. Then each page takes up to 5 minutes to load.

Has anyone found a way around this?

I mut note that at the moment I have use cache set to false. I don't know whether it is reccomended to have this set to on when in this situation

Thanks a lot

Using the Easy Populate, version 2.76, is the best way to handle products, regardless of the number.

Thanks for the reply. I will try easy populate wlthough I have heard some negative points about it. I have all my products up there but sometimes I need to change stock levels manually hence needing to go into admin. Thanks a lot

The negative comments are due to the mess in that contributions download section. The version I mentioned works great. You can set the quantity from it, as well as the other aspects of your products. However, if all you need do is control the quantity, there is a contribution that allows setting that field easily from admin. Unfortunately, I don't recall the name but a search on "product quantity," or something simialr, in the contribution section might turn it up.

ditto Jack's answer.

I use EP 2.76c and with over 3000 products it makes updating stock levels a simple 15 minute task.
