Double E-Mail

1. You could be having duplicate fields in your database. I faced it once and had to delete all the duplicate fields through the phpMyAdmin interface, esp. check the configuration tables in your database.

 

2. You could have given duplicate email ids in MyStore configuration area in the admin interface.

I couldnt find any problem with my database or in admin config. Thanks for the suggestions though. Any other ideas. I know there used to be a string on the old forum when this was exchange project but cant find it here.

Wish I could help. mine ended up ironing itself out while I was fixing other issues. Are you using 2.2 if not use it instead. I am notsure which add on fixed my problem but if I am able to figure it out I will reply again with the answer

I just fixed it...inadvertently

 

I went to admin>>email>>changed from SMTP to Sendmail

 

The change did the trick.

 

I could probably go back to SMTP...but...NAHHHH!!!
