glengall1 Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 Hi folks, Sorry to be a pest. I would like to change my store to read the dates British style of dd/mm/yy. Is there an easy way to do this as I have found a British style version of OSCommerce but I want to use the one I have already installed (standard OSC) and just want to change the look of the dates. I have hunted on the forum but cannot find anything specific to this question. My apologies if I have missed it if there is already an answer to it. If there is an answer already I would be really grateful if someone could point me in the right direction.

Download the UK version of OSC that you've found then do a file compare against the ones in that package and the ones you have on your server and take what you need.

Thanks for that. I am a complete newbie so this will be a hard thing for me to do. Where would I actually find where the date is calculated etc.?

I think you need to look at the following: catalog/includes/languages/english.php Right at the top of that file it has parts for the date and time for the catalog side.. admin/includes/languages/english.php

I have actually found a piece that shows how to change alot of things to British style including the date.
