Digital Download & Email Url Notification

We have finally achieved the ability to have our customers pay with their PayPal account, have PayPal automatically accept and confirm the payment via IPN and return the customer back to our Store with a "thank you" message. As it is setup now, and because we are a digital download site, the customer must then go into his account and find the download link to obtain his purchase.

 

Sounds good and we're very happy it actually works and works well, but ...

 

It would be much easier for the customer and much more professional if the system sent the customer an email with the download url enclosed.

 

Does anyone know how to do this? Is there a module or contribution available that would do this?

 

We are almost there with the technical part of our store. A few more tasks to complete and remove from our "to-do list", like email notification, and we'll be confident of opening our doors.

 

If anyone is notifying by email that includes the download url please tell us how it is done.
