how to remove lengthy product description on 1st page?

I haven't worked on the shop in a long time, and forgot the contribution that was used to provide a lengthier product description on the front page of the shop. I would now prefer it to just have the product title & picture...and when customers clicked on it, then they would find the longer description. But now I'm not sure what file I need to edit to return it to that point...

 

Can anyone help point me in the right direction?

Probably it is catelog/includes/modules/new_products.php
