We need professional help!

I am having an Osc sites built by a company in India and they are dropping the ball and I want to drop them but afraid that we will be left with nothing. Or if I get access to what they have completed, I may need to get professional help in getting it completed and working. Does anyone have any suggestions?

The Site Looks Great! the only problem I can see is with the images. They just need to be uploaded into the images folder on the server.

The Site Looks Great! the only problem I can see is with the images. They just need to be uploaded into the images folder on the server.

You've learnt the hard way, when employing a web design firm you should always be within driving distance that way when the shit hits the fan you can drive round there and have it out with them. I've had so many bad dealings with web design firms that I've had to practically learn the game myself to avoid getting burnt.

 

Whats happened with this project, the delays might be because they have hit a brick wall and are waiting for advice themself.

 

Where is the site hosted? Do you have access to the server? You need to download the mysql database and all of the contents of the catalog folder.

Yes, I would agree that they did hit a brickwall. I've buit a basic osc site myself so I thought having someone put together the major areas would be a good thing to save time for myself. Right now, they are not allowing me access to the ftp server and is currently on a demohut server. I keep trying to get them to place it on my server so I can drop them but, under the current circumstances, I can't drop them because I will be left nothing if they do not give me access to the files. I have definitely learned the hard way!
