Using Multiple Skins and URLs

I wish to operate three apparently unique stores, each one having its own unique URL, brand name and image, and selling its own unique group of products. All the products are very similar in nature. To simplify administration and running costs, how can I configure a single store to do this?

Ie, How can I configure a single store to change its skin according to the URL entered by an unidentified user? (I can handle separating the products.)
