:?

I am VERY new to oscommerce. My first test site works fine

www.cilliers.com/catalog

the second try I enabled ssl and get a 404 error, this is on

http://yamaha.mypuffin.co.uk/catalog

I put a username and password in to stop accidental visits while I am building it

username:yamaha

password:cilliers

any ideas?

Your site is working ok now :)

When do you get the 404 error?

I get the same error.

If I enable SSL I get an HTTP 404 error when I either try to check out or

try to access my account.

Are there any special settings or files that need to be configured on the SSL sever side?

For instance my SSL server has Directory index displays turned off , so I need to specify what I'm looking for.

Right now my Cart is in startup mode (right out of the box) I won't configure it until I know I can get it running.

additionally, how does one password protect the Admin folder?

"notify me of update links" those are the only two ive seen, so far.

I am guessing this might be a configuration issue any wiser oscommerce gurus than I to help out this late saturday night?
