Soumik Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 Is the admin panel of OSCommerce is not protected by password? Or I made any mistake while installing it?? Soumik
spax Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 You need to do that yourself. You should have an option to secure your directories from your host control panel.
jpweber Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 Go to your host's control panel and find the Password Protected Directories icon, click it ... find your admin folder, and set the username/password there. If your host doesn't have this option, then there are other ways using .htaccess and .htpasswrd, but don't worry about that for now.
