Change Site Title

Hello everyone! I've been working hard on my store and noticed that when you visit your browser identifies the title of my site as "osCommerce". I need to change that. In what file is that text found - index.php?

In the admin section. configuration-> My Store-> Store Name

I thought that too and even though I have given a title to my osCommerce store as "Lisa's Garage" in the Admin Configuration Panel when you visit the home page of our store the store is identified as "osCommerce". Look up at this page at the very top of your browser. It should say "osCommmerce Community Support Forms" (and maybe something else, depending on where you are in the forums. When you are at my normal website it says "Lisa's". You click a link and you are taken off to "Lisa's Garage Sales" but the browser doesn't say that at the top of the page, instead it says "osCommerce".

 

It is pulling that osCommerce in from one of the pages. I don't see it on the Index.php so I'm wondering where it is. I was hoping someone might know off hand so I don't have to wade through all the files.

Do you have a Header Tags Contribution installed? If not, I'd highly recommend one - Header Tags Controler.

in your catalog folder, Edit every php file as follows

 

Find

<title><?php echo TITLE; ?></title>

 

and replace with

<title><?php echo TITLE; ?>  :: <?php echo HEADING_TITLE; ?></title>

 

This wont work on product_info.php tho
