Can you change the admin password?

Good day.

I'm a newbie to osCommerce. I've been hunting around trying to find a place where I can change the admin password that is needed to access the admin section, but I haven't had any luck.

 

Is it possible to change the admin password - and if so - how?

Hi

You can go through CPanel -

select Password Protect Directories

select Shopcart

Then go to the bottom in Active Users Section and change your password

 

If you are not using CPanel then there is another way but as i don't use it so I can't remember what it was. I did start a thread on this myself about 1.5 - 2 weeks ago so have look for that and you will see how to do it without using CPanel
