bobg7 Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 This is not the only board being hit by the spammers, since spamming email is getting harder and criminal actions can be taken against email spammers that are caught, they have started to spam message boards. Until board spammers are put under the same category as email spammers all we can do in add more filters/blockers and have more moderators to police the boards. Not sure if this is a modification that can be applied on this board, but something where when spam is spotted, a reader can click a 'Report as Spam' button, the message is set to a special area for review by the moderators and approved or deleted. Installed Contributions: CCGV, Close Popup, Dynamic Meta Tags, Easy Populate, Froogle Data Feeder, Google Position, Infobox Header Entire Row, Live Support for OSC, PayPal Seal with CC images, Report_m Sales, Shop by Price Revised, SQL Updater, Who's Online Enhancement, Footer, GNA EP Assistant and still going.
