josieg182 Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 Okay, I have installed the contents of Paypal IPN 1.4 to my server. First of all is that all I need? This is a new install of osC and I am just now installing this module. Second, I have no idea what I am supposed to put in the following places located in the Admin>modules>paypal IPN edit Your Private Key Your Public Certificate PayPal's Public Certificate Your PayPal Public Certificate ID The public certificate ID that PayPal should use to decrypt the encrypted order data. The working directory to create temporary files. (All created files are automatically deleted when no longer needed) Can someone please help me, I have no clue here! Thank you so much! Jack_mcs Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 You need a paypal account. The fields you mention are not required and can be left as they are. The instructions explain what they are for if you want to use them. I have no idea where to find them. Also, do I need to set the Enable Encrypted Web Payments to true or false? Sorry, I am just new to all this oscommerce stuff. Thank you for your help! I am trying to place an order and it keeps telling me there is a problem with my email address when I try to create an account, it is the email address I use everywhere else so... Any ideas?
