Orders not comming through

I have had this problem on 3 or 4 orders lately and want to know if anyone else has encountered this and might possibly have a solution explianation.

Customer places order and pays by paypal (don't know if this is a factor or not). The order never gets posted to the system. I receive the paypal payment and the customer record is added to the system, but the order never comes through. Order totals are correct for what they ordered. I just have to call the customer to determine what they ordered.

Anyone else experienced this?

I have had the exact problem yesterday and a friend of mine also experiences it. we are looking for a solution as well and are actually starting to lean towards an E-bay store to solve it.

Yes, it's a known scenario and yes, it has been asked many times and answered too. Just search in this forum for +order +paypal.

Feedback and suggestions on my shop welcome.

Note: My advice is based on my own experience or on something I read in these forums. No guarantee it'll work for you! Make sure that you always BACKUP the database and the files you are going to change so that you can rollback to a working version if things go wrong.
