Shipping/Payment Modules

My first problem is that my payment and shipping modules have disappeared and in their place is an "install" button but when I click "install" nothing happens.

 

I'm wondering if there is an easy fix for this.

 

I'm also wondering if perhaps I need to reinstall the whole application because I'm getting a lot of warnings of errors on other pages, but I'm afraid I'm going to lose all the work I've put into this one if I reinstall the whole OS Commerce app again.

 

I'm not familiar at all with php so really need simple, very explicit instructions.

Additional information to above. I just tried to upload an image and it says that the destination directory does not exist. It has just occurred to me that I have changed servers. Could this be the reason for all my errors? How do I correct the situation?

This happens when you have multiple entries in the configuration table for the affected modules. The fix is to remove any duplicate configuration entries. To fix this requires using phpMyAdmin to remove records from the configuration table.

Well, if you changed servers, you'll have to put the new server information into your catalog/includes/configure.php and catalog/admin/includes/configure.php files.

 

Did you change servers at the same Hosting company or did you go to an entirely different hosting company?
