Hi

I have deleted all manufacturers so I can install my own and now I have the following error message :

Manufacturers

1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '-20, 20' at line 1

select manufacturers_id, manufacturers_name, manufacturers_image, date_added, last_modified from manufacturers order by manufacturers_name limit -20, 20

[TEP STOP]

Can anybody help to solve this please ?

Thanks in advance

Tom

how did you delete it?

did you delete the manufacturers table?

if so run this code as a sql query

DROP TABLE IF EXISTS manufacturers;
CREATE TABLE manufacturers (
 manufacturers_id int NOT NULL auto_increment,
 manufacturers_name varchar(32) NOT NULL,
 manufacturers_image varchar(64),
 date_added datetime NULL,
 last_modified datetime NULL,
 PRIMARY KEY (manufacturers_id),
 KEY IDX_MANUFACTURERS_NAME (manufacturers_name)
);

Hi

I was just deleting manufacturers like Microsoft etc that are preloaded in admin so I could load my own.

When I deleted the lat one that 1064 error message appeared.

I am new to this so I am unsure how to run SQL query ?

Thanks

Tom

ok, try putting your new info into the manufactures table, see if that fixes it

Hi Jeff

I cannot input anything as the error message is permanently there in admin.

Sorry if I am not following you as I am new to OS.

Thanks very much

can you access phpmyadmin?

(it accesses the database)

Hi Jeff

I dont have that ?

I have tried overwriting manufacturers.php with original OS 2.2 but error still there.

So this is problem with SQL ?

Thanks

Tom
