Guest Posted November 29, 2006 Posted November 29, 2006 What is the reason for this lengthy, but frequently occuring process (Paypal IPN installed)? >>> snippet from order in /admin/orders.php 11/29/2006 10:02:43 Preparing [PayPal IPN] 11/29/2006 10:03:48 Pending PayPal IPN Invalid [Completed] 11/29/2006 10:04:00 Preparing [PayPal IPN] 11/29/2006 10:04:06 Preparing [PayPal IPN] 11/29/2006 10:04:19 Pending PayPal IPN Invalid [Completed] 11/29/2006 10:04:59 Pending PayPal IPN Invalid [Completed] 11/29/2006 10:06:40 Pending PayPal IPN Invalid [Completed] 11/29/2006 10:09:03 Pending PayPal IPN Invalid [Completed] 11/29/2006 10:12:39 Pending PayPal IPN Invalid [Completed] 11/29/2006 10:17:57 Pending PayPal IPN Verified [Completed (Verified; £25.00)] <<< I also received multiple order confirmation emails from my site for the above order. This does not happen every time, but occurs quite frequently. Is it something that the customer is responsible for? (returning to our site when paypal is/is not, etc?) Can it/might it cause any trouble with the site? (or even worse, be detrimental to the customer experience!) Is there anything that I can do to avoid this? Feedback much appreciated
