Blank values

Okay, fresh new install (fianlly figured out all the database stuff).

 

Now, as I try to add anything in the admin, like Store name, new item headers, etc, it seems to do everything, but when the page refreshes, the "value" comes up blank. When I try to re-edit, the value is still blank and stays that way.

Here's somme of my configuration page text:

Well, not sure if this is a fix, but I downloaded a copy of phpMyAdmin and am able to edit themm that way....

WORKING!!!!!!

 

i got so frustrated that I deleted the entire install and installed a new version. It totally worked. Admin is now uploading pictures, adding new items, etc. It's all working... YAYYY!!!!!
