HI,

I've tried to install and use easy populate, from version 2 to 3. I don't know what can be the error with my shop so I tried again in a new store without sucess.

I can download a complete tab-delimited file with my producs and categories.

I can split this file and see the new file in the temp directory. So my config file is ok.

Whe i tried to upload the .txt file EP just update/create the first record.

I've tried using tab, ",", ";", etc. but always same results.

I'm sure I'm using EOREOR at the end of each line.

I've tried to upload the same file I just downloaded..... same result, just first record updated / created.

I don't get any error. I get this:

File uploaded.

Temporary filename: /tmp/phpyHSdNg

User filename: mytextfile.txt

Size: 994

|model01| |info| |info| |info| |info| |info| |info| |info| |info| |info| |info| |info| Updated

|model02| |model03| |model03|

Tks,

Tks,

Under tools in admin, check server info and see what version of PHP they are using.

If it's version 5, there is a small patch you have to make to the easypopulate.php file that you can find in the Easy Populate Support thread (contribution support) and that should fix it.

HI, My server has PHP Version 5.0.4

Ok, in catalog/admin/easypopulate.php,

Find this

array_walk($readed, 'walk');

replace with this

//array_walk($readed, 'walk');
foreach ($readed as $readed_record) {
walk($readed_record);
}

That should do it

You're most welcome.

It only took me two weeks of screwing around with it before someone clued ME in to what the problem was. Hope you haven't been suffering that long LOL
