Right columnn, footer show on homepage

Since the bug report site does not allow postings, I will make a post here. If this is not a bug, then it certainly should be a feature. Should not lose features when there is an upgrade of the software.

 

 

With 2.2MS2-060817 you cannot show the right column, what's new at bottom, and footer on the entry/homepage (index.php) no matter what folder the script is installed in (www.mydomain.com, www.mydomain.com/oscommerce/catalog, www.mydomain.com/store)

The problem was that the new version I downloaded of new_products.php was bad. And of course I was installing this version on all my test sites.

I don't know if I have the same problem but I downloaded osC latest version on around 10th Dec and had a site 90% there in the catalog folder. However, I decided to move it all to the root, changed the includes/configure.php file and the admin/includes/configure.php to remove references to catalog/ thinking everything would be fine.

 

Everything largely is BUT my right column is mental - the table borders are weird. It's at www.devmc.theabbeyshop.com - does anyone know if this is a similar problem to this post or just me not implementing the move to root properly???

I know all about feeling like crying or going crazy.

What I did is download the entire store again and then just extracted the new_products.php file
