newtech Posted November 29, 2006 Posted November 29, 2006 Since the bug report site does not allow postings, I will make a post here. If this is not a bug, then it certainly should be a feature. Should not lose features when there is an upgrade of the software. With 2.2MS2-060817 you cannot show the right column, what's new at bottom, and footer on the entry/homepage (index.php) no matter what folder the script is installed in (www.mydomain.com, www.mydomain.com/oscommerce/catalog, www.mydomain.com/store) See: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=239139

max_osb Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 The problem was that the new version I downloaded of new_products.php was bad. And of course I was installing this version on all my test sites. I don't know if I have the same problem but I downloaded osC latest version on around 10th Dec and had a site 90% there in the catalog folder. However, I decided to move it all to the root, changed the includes/configure.php file and the admin/includes/configure.php to remove references to catalog/ thinking everything would be fine. Everything largely is BUT my right column is mental - the table borders are weird. It's at www.devmc.theabbeyshop.com - does anyone know if this is a similar problem to this post or just me not implementing the move to root properly??? I can't believe no-one else hasn't come across this recently... if it is a bad new_products.php file, how do I get a good one???? This is driving me nuts. Any help would be much appreciated as I think I'm going to cry... :'(

What I did is download the entire store again and then just extracted the new_products.php file
