Protx Direct (v3.0a) doesn't show up in Admin > Modules > Payment

I've followed the instructions for install as far as the step where you go to Admin > Modules > Payment, then choose ProTX Direct & Install, however the Protx module doesn't show in the list ...

 

Does anyone have any ideas?

Do you mean it doesn't show in the list of payment modules for you to be able to select "install"? Or that when you select install it doesn't show up on the payment page?

 

If the former then please make sure that you have uploaded the files to the correct directories - this is normally the reason for the module not showing up.

 

If not let us know.

I have been pulling out what hair I have left over this one! We have set up an account with Protx and they suggest the following:

 

To configure your OS Commerce shopping cart for Protx VSP Form use, please follow these steps;

 

Download the VSP Form module from the OS Commerce website and follow the appropriate installation process.

When you click on that link, all you get is one file so I am completely lost on what files I need to install the module Protx speak about.

Use that link and download the package dated 21 October 2005 - the packages above are just fixes etc that you will need to sort through afterwards.

 

PS: this thread was actually about the Protx Direct module - something completely different.

Having exactly the same problem as Lee with Protx form V1.9 downloaded from contribution link Protx supplied me with

 

I can't work out where to install the protx form folder within ecommerce

 

I uploaded it to payment/ modules area but the protx option does not show up in the payment modules list. can anyone help me on installation please, as I am completely new to OSCommerce
