modulate Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 Whats to say that even if you could submit your site, that it would even end up getting listed. Even then, it may take them months, or even over a year to even look at it unless of course you have big bucks in your pocket to pass to their corrupt editors. My advice is concentrate more on Google and yahoo, etc. At least you know you will be getting it listed through hard work of your own, and not snuggling up to Dmoz editors as they like it to be done. Wish you all the best in your SEO

That's what I had to do. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- OSC user for years and no coder, so I've earned my stripes. Feel free to private message me.

That's what I had to do. You mean be an Editor and then add the the URl to the listing??? Any technical aspect being an Editor for DMOZ??? Funny, the last time I learn SEO lots poeple like SEO experts encouraged me to list it on DMOZ. Guess that they failed to inform me that DMOZ is in BAD state... I'll try the available option you give me then... Thanks!
zhexiang Posted November 29, 2006 Author Posted November 29, 2006 Whatever happens to the link "Become an editor"... DMOZ says to become an editor, choose the category of your choice, and click on "Become an editor" on top of the page... But I don't find it... Has it been removed..???

If you can't find the "become an editior" link, there already is an editor for that category.
jpweber Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 All of DMOZ currently is still not working. That includes the option to become an editor. If you eventually apply to become an editor, do not tell them about your website, or you'll be denied.
