Does Oscommerce work with a Apple-Mac

Hello can anyone tell me if this programm works with an Apple Mac. I have a friend having a shop on his pc but does it work on a Mac.

Greatly appriciated if someone can clear this for me.

if he can run php, mysql and apache he can run oscommerce on that.

I guess you are talking about a local instalation, i.e. not on the internet.

you got for windows a WAMP (windows apache mysql php) (easy install), for the mac you got MAMP.

 

he will need to get this going first, before he can start with oscommerce

Sure does! Works quite well too. Mac OS X is a ported unix flavor. If you have any Linux or other unix exp all the setups (PHP,MySQL,osCommerce, etc) should be pretty easy. Search the forums for "Mac OS X" you'll see all kinds of help.
