Need category names to be longer

Hi everyone

 

Sorry but I can't see this one for looking! :blink:

 

I have just discovered that there is a maximum limit to the number of letters my categories can have.

 

BUT I can't find where to lengthen it. I have checked the admin>configure>maximum values but nop. :huh:

 

Does anyone know how to do this please?

you can change your mysqldatabase for that.

use phpmyadmin, go to categories_description and change

 

categories_name varchar(33)

 

to

 

categories_name varchar(66)

 

you will now be able to record categories up to 66 characters long.
