SSL on another domain - PayPal Payments Pro?

Recommended Posts

Posted

I am in the process of setting up PayPal Website Payments Pro and SSL for my site.

I have a handful of sites, and it'd be expensive to get SSL for all of them (no shared SSL, need a static IP and a certificate for each) so I was thinking about using one domain for SSL and redirecting all of the other sites' checkouts and logins and such to it. Is this possible? For osCommerce, is there a payment module that lets you do this? Is that even needed?

Thanks =)

Have you looked at the mall contributions?

Thanks, I'm headed over there now - I actually had not even considered the idea. Color me embarrassed!

I'm working with only two osCommerce sites and a growing handful of smaller specialty sites I'd just been using standard PayPal for. I'm certain there must be a contribution (or similar for the bloggish sites) that lets you use a payment gateway you set up on another domain - I'm just apparently searching the wrong way.

Here's hoping that one of the mall contributions solves all my problems =)
