dux Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 Hello. I have been searching and searching the forum + contribution lists for days. I have given up and may have to reject the customer if this post doesn't help :( My client sells cellphones with and without subscribtions. - When the customer buys a cellphone WITHOUT subscribtion the customer info. is just like normal in oscommerce. - When the customer buys a cellphone WITH subscribtion the customer info. has to have extra fields (e.g. social security no.) I guess that the product attribute system in oscommerce are a key element. Because I can make attributes that make you choose options like: Without subscribtion, With subscribtion. I have tried to make it work in the code with no luck. Please somebody help.
jpweber Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 Why wouldn't this contribution work? Customer Extra Fields There is also the Order Editor contribution. Look into them, as one of 'em might help. dux Posted November 27, 2006 Author Posted November 27, 2006 Because the extra fields must only been shown if the customer has chosen to buy a subscribtion with the phone. Else they should be hidden.
