Agent_Trig Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 When my customer has finished an order and it has dispatched, he deletes the order in the Admin because you are not supposed to keep people's credit card details on file. But when doing this it deletes the entry in the Best Sellers list on the homepage. Is there a way of deleting orders without it affecting the Best Sellers list within the site? Cheers

boxtel Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 BUMP  Someone must know how to keep your Bestsellers list active even after you've deleted the customers invoice/card details :D you are not supposed to delete completed orders, in some countries it would be illegal to do so. But still, if you delete an order, the ordered quantity is reduced by the order amount of the order and as such the product will slip in the bestsellers list. It will only do this if you select "restock" when deleting the order as that signals an invalid/irrelevant order. So don't select that checkbox or alter the function tep_remove_order(). Treasurer MFC
