m_lokay Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 Its been a long time since I used this particular website and I have forgotten the password for the admin. Howe do I recover it? If it can't be recovered, how do I change it and what files does this affect? Thanks for your help.
jpweber Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 Go to your host's cpanel and find the Password Protected Directory folder (or something similarly named). Find your ADMIN folder there. Your username will be there, so then reset your password. That should do it. If you can't find this, then you'll have to go into your admin folder, and delete the .htaccess and .htpassword files and configure them again. Good luck.
