chooch Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 HERE IS ANOTHER SITE ASKING FOR FEEDBACK USING THE SAME TEMPLATE Why didn't you mention in your opening post that this was a template store - and what exactly are we to feedback on when it is a template with no real work done by you apart from adding products and uploading images? Those types of templates are hard coded so in many places your language files are irrelevant, you need to find the hard coding and edit from there. For what it's worth your store takes ages to load and i kind of gave up on it after trying to open the 3rd or 4th item - you should use a different type of template or use osc and work towards your own design. Upon receiving fixes and advice, too many people don't bother to post updates informing the forum of how it went. Until of course they need help again on other issues and they come running back! Why receive the information you require in good faith for free, only to then have the attitude to ignore the people who gave it to you? There's no harm in saying, 'Thanks, it worked'. On the contrary, it creates a better atmosphere. CHOOCH

I'm the guy with the other similar template. I have actually found working with the template to much more of a challenge then working with the untemplated oscommerce. However the code is similar and can be worked with just as any other oscommerce coding. I have put in several hundred hours working on my store and I think it has a different feeling then this one.
