How to change all sent emails to HTML

I want users and admins to receive all of their emails in HTML. I use some languages packs that use special formatting like "à" wich does not display correctly in plain text.

I want users and admins to receive all of their emails in HTML. I use some languages packs that use special formatting like "à" wich does not display correctly in plain text.

 

I want Articles Manager to send emails in HTML. On the "Tell a friend" page, it prints to the email by using tep_href_link() but the line appears in plain text. How can I detect when the configuration is Text/HTML from script so I can ajust formatting.
