UncleSteve Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 I'm having a problem displaying product field information in the product info page (standard features) In Admin > Configuration > Product Listing I have changed the settings to display the product weight, manufacturer and quantity. However none of these fields appear when viewing products. Can someone give any indications of whats possibly gone wrong please? Thanks in advance :) ____________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________
abra123cadabra Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 you should see this ie. in the search results or on the index page when you are in a subcategory with products. It's the line by line listing and not in the product pages itself. abra The First Law of E-Commerce: If the user can't find the product, the user can't buy the product. Feedback and suggestions on my shop welcome. Note: My advice is based on my own experience or on something I read in these forums. No guarantee it'll work for you! Make sure that you always BACKUP the database and the files you are going to change so that you can rollback to a working version if things go wrong.

abra123cadabra Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 You're welcome. Glad that I could point you in the right direction. Told you I'm modifying some features of my shop right now. It's also got to do with the display of different columns in the product listing. One of the reasons I knew where the effect of a change in above settings should be seen. :-) abra The First Law of E-Commerce: If the user can't find the product, the user can't buy the product.
