Hi OSC gurus

I've small problem that I'm hoping someone has come across before and has found a solution to.

My site is on Linux running fine , but the hosting company uses Shared SSL space on Windozs 2000

When I goto any secured URL I Get the message

"Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: e:\\sslroot\\gforce-rc\\catalog/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file."

the problem is I cant change the attributes on the file as the windows SSL space ingores any chmods on the file. I only have access to the Windows SSL site via ftp and any attribute changes dont stick.

I've spoken to the Hosting company and they say that they cant change the permissions.

I suppose it serves me right for not checking out the hosting company before :o(

Anyone help ?

I'm about to go in an hack out the warning messages , but I thought someone might have a solution to this already.

Cheers

Andy
