Guest Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 Hi there I've got my osc set up and full of products in www.mydomain.com/shop and it's all working fine. However, the root of my site (mydomain.com) is a static html catalogue which is also fine, and I need to link each product on this part of the site to the relevant page in osc. I know enough about php to acknowledge that if I simply copy and paste from the product's page, everyone visiting the site will have the same session id, which is no good. Presumably I will have to include a a page from osc in each product page, but I'm not confident enough with this to jump straight in. Can anyone help me with this? It will be muchly appreciated. Thanks Jack
Avec Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 I believe that if you include the correct hyperlink without the oscsid it will go to the correct osCommerce site. Once a button is clicked on that page, an oscsid is asigned and the user is just browsing around in the store. Another solution would be to recreate your static index page in osCommerce, which would make it easier in the long run to manage new products and catagories. Just a thought.
