Weight Format - Product List

I have the weight showing on the product list however it is in grams which is fine for my cart but I want to re-format it so it is easier for the customers to read.

 

Where can I find the code that shows this infomation? the path is catalog/index.php/cPath/36 but for some reason I cannot find the code anywhere.

As I still need this and am unable to work it out for myself I thought a screenshot might help.

 

You will simply see the product list.

 

I have the weight column, I want to know where the code is that displays that so I can reformat it to suit my products. I do not want to edit it within the database as it already suits my shipping.

How about an easier way.. I thought maybe instead of reformatting the weight to suit maybe I could just have it setup so it shows 3 decimal places rather then two.

 

Would this work and be easier then my first choice above?
