HELP! Database error and I'm up a creek....

I've used this forum a bit since starting my online store about a month back, but this is the first time I've posted. I have a huge problem...

 

I'm pretty much new at this game and everything has come along quite well - using osCommerce 2.2 and quite pleased - but I paid a guy through getafreelancer.com to help me with a download option in osCommerce - now two days later he is no longer returning my e-mails and I get this error whenever I try to update an item in the catalog:

I've learned some php but this has totally floored me - it makes no sense - thankfully customers can still purchase, register, login, etc.

 

And to boot the downloads are still not working - which is secondary now...

 

Any ideas? I would really appreciate it...

I got it solved - it was an error in my admin/categories.php file - from looking at the dates I saw that the guy had changed this one last and thankfully I had a recent backup on my local computer and replaced the badly coded file with a good on.

 

Just thought I'd let anyone know who might be interested.
