I also run a Canadian store. We aren't up and running yet since grand opening is due Jan 07 but OScommerce is great in many aspects. The help is exceptional, the product itself can be used as is (I am heavily moded) and people are always coming up with new mods to make management a breeze!

I have one running the paypal payment module. Sandbox testing through PayPal shows that it is consistently working without error.

 

It's in intensive beta testing at the moment while I decide on the look I want and will, hopefully, be launched between tomorrow and years end, depending on how much screwing around I do with it LOL

Are you using the official IPN 1.4 module? Mine's currently set up with that and I've been happy with the results, on the osCommerce side of things. I find the click-thru to be a bit excessive and the constant "sign up for PayPal now!" badgering a bit much, but for the price (no monthly fee), what can you do? If only AutoReturn worked for non-PayPal purchasers.

I run a Canadian store. I do funny t-shirts for geared toward College Students. I changed the look of oscommerce quite a bit, but it's there running in the background when you click on a t-shirt. I also use the paypal contribution, the fast easy checkout and the newsletter contrib.
