Remove 'categories\' text a beginning of bread crumb trail

Hi all,

 

I am trying to figure out where the 'categories/' text at the start of the breadcrumb is defined. I want to remove this.

 

currently I have:

 

categories/ category 1 >> sub category

 

I want it to be:

 

category 1 >> sub category

 

The 'categories/' is just plain old text it is not a link and I can't see where it is pulling it from. I dont think it is application_top.php

I can't find it anywhere, not in any language files, app top, breadcrumb.php... it is like it isn't defined.. ???

 

If anyone could help out it would be greatly appreciated. Cheers....

That's based off some template, so it's always good to know the template you've installed.

 

I'd guess it's somewhere in catalog/includes/languages/english.php. Search for Categories / within that file .... and then just make it blank (don't delete the entire line).

 

IF I was really serious about finding this, I'd download Crimson Editor at http://www.crimsoneditor.com and then do a find / find in files / include subfolders, exact case match and type in Categories / exactly like it is to see where it's coming from, since I have no idea about templates. yeah bloody tempates.... i've checked every language file... several times hahaha

 

i guess i'll give the search a go... thanks for your help..
